Erasmus+ Internships  is the reference program if the destination is a European country, although it allows internships to be carried out all over the world with a minimum duration of three months. These internships can be curricular, extracurricular and as a newly qualified person. The inclusion strategy of the Erasmus program contemplates that profiles of people with fewer opportunities can obtain additional funding : also people with serious illnesses, with exemption from academic fees and other situations.

As for the  UAB Exchange Program Traineeships program , it allows you to carry out curricular and extracurricular internship stays in any country in the world with a duration of 30 days or more. The signing of agreements within the framework of this program is done with a biometric digital signature system that allows the document to be signed electronically from any electronic device, which facilitates the procedures.

The UAB Employability Service, in charge of managing both programs, has already published the call for both programs on the website in a clear, visual and interactive way. Among all the information you can find a scholarship simulator where students can enter the type of their current studies, the country they want to go to and for how long to find out which program they should apply for.

With these programs,  the UAB promotes the international mobility  of its students, aware of the importance it has for their professional future: according to the  Study on the Impact of Erasmus , 64% of business people believe that having had a mobility experience is an important factor  when hiring people .

Erasmus+ Internships  is part of the European Erasmus+ mobility program of the  European Commission , and the  SEPIE  (Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education) distributes its funds in Spain. UAB Exchange Program Traineeships , on the other hand, is an  exclusive program owned by the University  that offers more flexibility in the length of stays.
