On April 17th, the students of the second year of the degree in Audiovisual Communication had the opportunity to see "The teacher who promised the sea" in the Magna classroom of the faculty. The screening of the film, based on the book of the also professor of the subject Paco Escribano, was a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the themes and reflections offered by this audiovisual work. After the screening, an enriching discussion was held with the presence of the author and producer of the book and the professor of the subject, where they could delve into the details of the history and its implications.
The film, which has been available in streaming for weeks now, will remain available to the public for longer, offering everyone the opportunity to know this production that has generated great interest. The students were highly interested and participatory both during the screening and in the subsequent colloquium, highlighting the impact of this audiovisual work, which was carried out with a budget of more than 2 million euros.
