GAD participates in the V Catalonia Cup
Last February 9th, 10th and 11th, the Argumentation and Debate Group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona went to Lleida to attend the V Copa Catalunya, a bilingual tournament held in Catalonia that aims to organize a safe and learning space for novices from all over the Catalan Countries.

The tournament was organized by Xènia Porterias Pico, without whom it would not have been possible to enjoy a high quality tournament. On the part of the cademic teams, we enjoyed the good fortune of having José María Sáez Rodríguez as a member of the adjudication team and Malak Benchafii Lo Kaati as tabulation, both of whom did a very good job.
As judges we sent two veterans, Eudald Garcia and Alejandro Molina, who were able to follow up the novices through their work as judges.
After two intense days in which the GAD members debated very interesting and diverse motions, it was time for the break, where two teams from our club passed to the semifinals, the team formed by Carmen Alameda and Jordi Alaminos, as well as the team of Daniel Gonzalez and Ouray Rueda.
On the other hand, the team GAD-Udl MH went to the final Caterina Albert, with Hector Salgado as a member of it.
At the time of awarding the final prize we were able to celebrate with Daniel Gonzalez his position in fifth place as best novel speaker.
