Official Master's Degree in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies
Introduction
The master's degree in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies aims to train professionals, academics and researchers who wish to join the labour market directly or take up research in the field of Translation and Interpreting, Language Mediation and Intercultural Studies, or in Social Sciences and Humanities of contemporary East Asia.
The specialisations of the master's degree in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies are:
- Translation and Intercultural Mediation (professional)
- Interpreting (professional)
- Translation and Intercultural Studies (research)
- Research into contemporary East Asia (research)
Ideal student profile
You should ideally have prior training in translation and interpreting and a strong grasp of languages. According to the specialisation you choose, you require specific knowledge in this field.
Teaching timetable
Lectures will be held on afternoons, except for the specialisation in Interpreting, which will take place on mornings. First-year students, however, will follow the same timetable as undergraduate Translation and Interpreting students (mornings and afternoons up until about 3:30 pm).

Lectures will take place at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting.

113€ per credit (non-EU citizens who do not hold a Spanish residence permit).
Fees for the 2012/13 academic year.
Lectures will be held in Catalan, Spanish or English.
