Double International Bachelor's Degree UAB and FH Salzburg



The School of Tourism and Hotel Management at the UAB and the Fachhochschule Salzburg have reached an agreement to offer this Double International Bachelor's degree to their tourism and hotel management students from the 2019-202 academic year.  The agreement will allow students to obtain the Double Undergraduate Degree in Tourism/Bachelor of Arts in Business (BA) Innovation and Management in Tourism.

The Double International Bachelor's degree is a new option for students form the school. They can take the first two years at the UAB in Catalan and Spanish as well as the first semester of the third year. Then, they can take the second semester of the third year and the first semester of the fourth year at the FH Salzburg, which is situated in the biggest tourist area in the country: the Tyrol region.

At the FH Salzburg University, which offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business (BA) Innovation and Management in Tourism, UAB students will study subjects corresponding to the specialisation Destination Management or Hospitality Management, pathways which focus greatly on tourist innovation and on the application of new technologies.

Students must be able to accredit a level B2 in English to be accepted onto the new programme, and they will also have to opportunity to improve their level of German and do a work placement in Austria.
