A total of 26,583.39 euros was the amount raised by the twelfth edition of the Solidarity Race for La Marató de TV3, which took place on Sunday 17 December and was organised by the UAB and the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès, with the collaboration and sponsorship of Applus+ Laboratories, the University of Barcelona (UB) and EMD Bellaterra. The more than one thousand people who participated in it, as well as those who have collaborated by making contributions afterwards, have achieved one of the highest collections of the race of those held so far on campus.

Until 7 March, and from 13 February, the scientific community of the UAB, as well as other universities and research centres in Catalonia, may submit research projects in sexual and reproductive health in the call for grants from the foundation to qualify for funding with the resources obtained in the 32nd edition of La Marató de TV3.

Thanks to the social awareness campaign on 17 December, La Marató broadcast a programme on radio, television and digital platforms with a provisional score of 5,705,395 euros, which will be increased with the donations that arrive until 31 March.

The research projects on sexual and reproductive health must be submitted through this page, where you can find the rules and the call form, which is exclusively online.

The candidate works will be evaluated in a rigorous process coordinated by the Mniistry for Health's Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQUAS), with the participation of international experts in sexual and reproductive health. This evaluation will determine how the funds raised in La Marató 2023 will be distributed, according to the excellence of the work presented. The result of the evaluation will be published by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation based on the proposal of the Scientific Advisory Committee, during the last quarter of 2024.

Over the course of three years, teams from public research centres and non-profit organisations will carry out research projects in sexual and reproductive health.
