Author: Carl Sagan (New York, 1934 - Seattle, 1996), astronomer, physicist and lecturer.
Summary: Written by Carl Sagan, one of the most important popularisers of science in the 20th century, Cosmos is one of the world's most important pieces of scientific literature. The book is an adventure starting at the beginning of the universe, 15 million years ago, and taking the reader right up to the appearance of the conscience. The prologue to the Catalan edition is written by Ricard Guerrero, Chair of Microbiology for the University of Barcelona.
