NGO Wassu Gambia Kafo

Wassu Gambia Kafo (WGK) is a non-governmental organisation set up by Prof. Adriana Kaplan in 1999, as an initial institutional endeavour to promote cooperation for development between the Republic of Gambia and Spain in the fields of health, research and education.

Over the years, WGK has worked closely with governmental and non-governmental organisations, both international and local, and with professionals and communities, empowering persons to take informed decisions through knowledge transfer for the prevention of FGM/C.
