Departmental Unit of Sant Pau

This teaching unit is located in the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, an artistic work of the architect Domènech and Muntaner. The teaching began the course 1968-1969, with the beginning of the Faculty of Medicine, at the same time that the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona was founded. The studies of the degree of Medicine are taught from the 3rd course, in addition to several postgraduate courses. This teaching unit is responsible, on a rotating basis with the teaching units of Vall d'Hebron and Germans Trias i Pujol, of the teaching of the first semester of the 3rd year of the degree in Biomedical Sciences.
