In compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your personal data will be processed, with your consent, for the purpose of sending you information on the courses, services and activities of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and to handle any request you may make to take part in the university's information and guidance activities.

Your data will be retained indefinitely and may be assigned to Fundació Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona or to centres affiliated to the UAB for the same purposes in relation to these organisations.

The processing of your data will not lead to any automated decisions being made, nor to profiling for predictive purposes based on personal preferences, behaviours or attitudes.

In accordance with current law on personal data protection, you have the right to exercise, at any time, your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection,  limitation of processing and portability of the data by making a written application to the data controller (the head of the Promotion Unit of the Area of Communication and Promotion of the UAB: promocio@uab.cat) or to the Secretariat General of the UAB, campus universitari de Bellaterra, Edifici del Rectorat, Pl. Acadèmica S/N, 08193, Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès).

In addition, you may lodge a complaint before the Catalan Data Protection Authority (apdcat.gencat.cat/ca/inici/) and address queries to the UAB data protection officer (protecció.dades@uab.cat).
