The use of frozen eggs is an experimental assisted-reproduction technique similar to the freezing of sperm cells, and is very beneficial in particular for women with ovarian cancer. A team of researchers at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is working to improve in vitro fertilisations (IVF) using frozen eggs.
