Acte d'investidura com a Doctor Honoris Causa del sr. Tatsuo Itoh
Tatsuo Itoh és, probablement, l'investigador més influent en el camp de l'enginyeria de radiofreqüència i microones en l'actualitat, com demostren els seus 48 llibres i capítols de llibre, més de 440 articles publicats, 80 tesis dirigides, deu patents i més de 32.000 citacions segons Google Scholar. Entre les seves aportacions, destaca el disseny de circuits de comunicacions i antenes sobre la base dels anomenats metamaterials, camp en el qual, Itoh és un dels grans pioners.
