  • Family letters of Catalonia (16th-19th century): inventory, study and dissemination

The project aims to gain a broader understanding of ego-documents to build up an inventory of family correspondence from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. These letters are held, often randomly and forgotten, in archives and libraries in Catalonia. Exhaustive research is being carried out in all Catalan document centres, from the national archives such as the Archive of the Crown of Aragon, to the provincial, county, municipal, ecclesiastical and heritage collections.

  • Multidisciplinary DocHumAn Network


DocHumAn: Document analysis and knowledge modeling for cultural heritage actions in Pyrenees region.

This is a multidisciplinary network made up of experts in the different areas of information technology (ICT), image processing,  document analysis and knowledge modelling, as well as experts in the areas of the social sciences such as demography and archiving.  

The aim of the network is to promote collaboration between researchers in different disciplines in the Pyrenean Work Community area in the context of digital humanities for the cataloguing and study of documentary collection that exist in the Pyrenees region.

Financing: Comunitat de Treball dels Pirineus-DGR. 2014.

  • Adaptation and introduction of an ISO 30301 management system


The adaptation and introduction of the school’s Document Management System for auditing and certification in the ISO 30301 Document Management System.

The objectives are to draw up the model of application, develop adequate methodological instruments and achieve the ISO 30301 certificate.

  • Towards e-Administration


Simplification towards e-Administration: redesign and improvement of administrative files to unify procedures, standardise documentation and reduce information content.

  • Archiving Wikiproject


From the academic year 2009-2010 to 2013-2014 students on the Master’s degree in Archiving and Document Management carried out work experience aimed at introducing and improving the quality of Wikipedia articles that referred to concepts, definitions and terminology related to archiving and document management.
