Microcredential in Language Acquisition - A Course for a Teachers

One of the concerns of early childhood and primary education teachers is the acquisition of language by infants and children. This course aims to offer a global perspective on language acquisition, especially on typical development, but also on language pathologies (Language Development Disorder, formerly called TEL; dyslexia) and aims to provide teachers with tools on issues of language development in the current context in which teachers must combine inclusive education, multilingualism in school with many other extralinguistic factors of variation. This training is not sufficiently represented in regulated qualifications in early childhood and primary education, which makes continuous training more necessary to better adapt to the classroom context. The UAB teaching team specializes in acquisition (especially of first languages) and language pathologies and conducts research with international impact.
