This microcredential, developed in collaboration with Civio—a leading organization in transparency and investigative journalism in Spain—offers practical training to develop skills in analyzing and representing public data aimed at holding power to account and strengthening democracy. It is intended for communication professionals and students, as well as citizens interested in journalism and evidence-based information.

Throughout the course, participants will explore topics such as data searching and cleaning, critical reading of official sources, building data-driven journalistic narratives, and clear, engaging data visualization. The training combines practical and contextual sessions with a critical and ethical perspective, emphasizing service to the public as the driving force behind journalistic information.
