The master's degree Metropolis in Urban and Metropolitan Studies takes a new approach to urban policy that goes beyond the traditional local and institutional context, incorporating conceptual frameworks and instruments to interpret the state of the metropolis from different angles. It combines a global perspective, on the one hand (comprising 30 mandatory credits and six optional credits), with a more focused one, on the other, through two specialisation tracks (comprising 18 mandatory credits and six optional credits). One of these tracks is Analysis, which is academic in nature and oriented towards training for research, and the other is Management, which is more profession-oriented and focuses on supporting practice.
