Master's Degree in Creative Typography

The master's degree in Creative Typography, coordinated by Andreu Balius and Pilar Gorriz, proposes learning both analog and digital techniques. Digital typography, code and programming are worked on and at the same time typography is used as a physical and material element. Understanding the code and matter as two sides of the same reality.

From the knowledge in calligraphic writing, vector drawing, until reaching the programming language, an understanding of the concept of typography is obtained for the development of typographic projects. The programme also offers an approach to the cultural dimension of typography and language.

The master's is aimed at students and professionals in the field of communication, as well as people who can prove practical experience in this field.
