Course in PhD Summer School:Translation, Intercultural and East Asian Studies
IntroductionThe PhD Summer School is organised by the Department of Translation, Interpreting and East Asian Studies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. It will be held at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting during the week of 25 to 29 June.
The PhD Summer School is a week-long intensive course that aims to foster the sharing of experiences and the pursuit of high-quality research by those who are just starting out on their research careers. The School will consist of seminars, workshops and individual tutorials. Throughout the week, students can associate with internationally renowned lecturers, which will enable all to share experiences and insights. The course is meant to serve as a platform on which students with a particular research project in mind can share interests, experiences and aspirations, while others can obtain ideas for possible research topics.
The PhD Summer School accepts postgraduate students from all countries who are interested in conducting research, whether at master's, PhD or post-doctoral level.
The School for Doctoral Studies consists of four seminars, four workshops, a plenary lecture and sessions for presenting research.
The seminars will be given by five internationally renowned experts.

The plenary lecture will be given by Prof. Óscar Luis Jiménez Serrano(Universidad de Granada) and the research-presentation sessions, which will take place on June 29, Friday, will be led by UAB teaching staff.
Degree of at least 180 ECTS credits, or an equivalent credential.
The PhD Summer School: Translation Studies, Intercultural Studies and East Asia accepts postgraduate students from all countries who are interested in conducting research, whether at master's, PhD or post-doctoral level.
