The specialisation course in Introduction to Nanofabrication and Nanoscale Phenomena will review the fundamental contents of nanofabrication and the concepts of scale and low dimensionality.

Contents

The objective of the course is to introduce the techniques and methods that exist for manufacturing at the micro and nanometer scale, so that the student is able to define an appropriate sequence of processes for the realization of devices or functional structures. It also briefly reviews the concept of nanoscale and the importance of the nm size of materials.
