Record keeping is a crucial part of management in organisations, as records are a source of information and help to ensure adherence to laws and regulations, while at the same time constituting a key company asset.

The arrival of new information technologies has not dissipated the uncertainty traditionally associated with records management, nor has it solved the problems in producing, managing and processing them, while the introduction of new media and new ways of working has brought new challenges with it

Records and archive management needs to be treated as one more production process implemented by the organisation to maintain efficiency and avoid unnecessary costs and, at the same time, to capitalise on information as another of the organisation's assets.  

Methodology:

This online course combines theory with the solving of case studies and practical exercises based on real-world administration, following the problem-based learning model.
