Introduction

This course covers the social aspects and applications of art. First there is a theoretical evaluation of the different kinds of social interventions in contemporary art and a study of the theoretical bases of therapeutic thought underlying these proposals. There is work on the anthropological concept of '"social action", as well as the ethical and aesthetic aspects of artistic interventions in this area.
The practical part of the course follows, which participants design and carry out their own proposals for social interventions, either in groups or individually, and these are supervised in class.
The practical part aims to draw up and carry out student interventions supervised in the classroom, taking into account the ethical and aesthetic question involved in this type of art.
