This specialisation course deals with the management of accessibility from a broad perspective, with a special emphasis on accessible communication and information and in the promotion of products and services for all. The course offers an introduction to key concepts such as diversity, accessibility and universal design, with creators and professionals who want to create content for all in mind, as well as managers of different public and private sectors (culture, education, councils, etc.)who want to incorporate accessibility in their working environments.
For example, people who want to design an accessibility plan for their local council area, cultural managers who want to integrate accessibility in a cultural product or resource or events organisers who want to take into account the needs of a range of different publics, among many others.

In six units offered over twelve weeks, the course gives a global panorama of accessibility, including topics from the definition of users, scenarios, technologies and services for accessibility to aspects of legislation and regulation. The course is aimed at people from a broad range of profiles: translators or linguists with audio-visual training who want to work more with accessibility, technicians, artists, cultural managers, companies and organisation in and professionals in the public and private sectors who want to create, manage or promote accessible content.
