The evaluation of the interaction between mycotoxin binders and nutrients in dairy cows.

This thesis will study the interaction of mycotoxin binders with some specific nutrients including vitamins and amino acids. This interaction has been recognized for a long time, but there are a few relevant studies that show the degree at which different mycotoxin binders sequester these nutrients. We will look at these interactions by using different methodologies, and describe which method can be the most adequate to test mycotoxin binder’s capacity to sequester other nutrients.
