Description of the collection:
GEXEL (Study Group on Literary Exile), a research group attached to the Department of Spanish Studies of the UAB, considers as a priority task the reconstruction of the historical, cultural and literary memory of the Spanish exile of 1939. It is for this reason that since some years, they are dedicated to collecting all the books of the exiled authors, books that in many cases are very difficult to locate.
