Otto Wilhem Gutzwiller (1889-1958), born in Switzerland, was a geologist dedicated to petrology. He was an adviser in geology in Spain and also in Venezuela and Peru.
From Catalonia, he knew the geological region of Blanes, where the current Botanical Garden was built in a granite area of ​​the Carboniferous upper.
Description of the collection: His personal archive consists of 86 geological works, his and other geologists, ceded by the Department of Stratigraphy.
