Virologist Margarita del Val to speak on pandemic immunology at the Faculty of Biosciences
Margarita del Val Latorre, virologist, immunologist and scientific researcher at the Severo Ochoa Centre for Molecular Biology (CSIC-UAM), will be offering a conference entitled “Inmunología de pandemia" on Monday 19 October at 1 p.m. at the Faculty of Bioscience.

The conference, which will be avialable online using the Teams platform, forms part of the official inauguration of the 2020/21 academic year at the Faculty of Biosciences. In addition to Margarita del Val's conference, the inauguration will include speeches by Rector Margarita Arboix, Dean Jaume Farrés and Professor Dolores Jaraquemada, from the Department of Cell Biology, Physiology and Immunology, who will present Margarita del Val, and the Faculty of Biosciences' Secretary Mercè Martí, who will announce the list of faculty members who retired last year.
