President of the Government of Catalonia Quim Torra awarded the Narcís Monturiol Medals and Plaques on 19 February at the Palau de la Generalitat. These distinctions are awarded to individuals and entities who have contributed greatly to the development of science and technology in Catalonia. They were first awarded in 1982.
