Open call to present candidacies for the Governing Council’s ad-hoc committee now open

Any student enrolled in the current academic year in UAB can present their candidacy to be part of the Governing Council’s ad-hoc committee. Deadline ends on 10 February.

The Governing Council is the supreme governing body in University. Its main work is to establish the strategic and programmatical plan as well as the guidelines, rules and procedures for its application within the context of education, research, human and economical resources and preparation of budget. They work in ad-hoc committees that are in charge of approving matters delegated by the Governing Council, develop proposals for the Governing Council to ratify and solve ordinary matters within their competence field. All committees are formed by every sector in university, that is, students, teaching and research staff and Administrative and Service staff.
 
Any student enrolled in the 2018/19 academic year in UAB can present, until 10 February, their candidacy to be part of the Governing Council’s ad-hoc committee. Election of new members will consider experience in representing and will be ratified in a plenary session in February, in charge of the Student Council.
 
Candidacies must be presented via e-mail. Candidates must attach the candidacy form and send it to info.participacio@uab.cat with the institutional e-mail (name.surname@e-campus.uab.cat) before the due date.
