The Observatory for Equality at the UAB, along with the education units Administrative and Services Staff (PAS) and the Academic and Research Staff (PDI) have promoted a series of courses and workshops on gender and sexual diversity in the second semester of this academic year, between February and June of 2020.

These courses that will be offered are grouped in different themes. The courses on communication with a gender perspective are addressed to the PAS, the PDI as well as students, who will have the possibility to validate them as ECTS credits. There will also be courses on gender perspective in teaching and research, addressed to PDI and PhD students; a capsule training on employability with a gender perspective, organised by the Servei d'Ocupabilitat of the UAB; and the course "Prevention and detection of sexual violence situations, sexual harassment, or harassment on grounds of sex, gender and sexual orientation" for PDI and PAS. The latter has been funded by Pacto de Estado contra la Violencia de Género, Ministerio de la Presidencia, Relaciones con las Cortes e Igualdad.

In addition, it offers the workshop "UAB spaces from a feminist perspective", an activity that can be validated as ECTS credits for students, as well as the courses on communication with a gender perspective.

For the first time, this year we offered a course on sexual diversity and LGTBI for Academic and research staff (PDI) and it's been a success. A few days after opening the registrations for the course, which is also available for the PAS, there weren't any more vacancies. Until now, this course was only offered to students and PAS.
