The new UAB-Emprèn space will host the awards ceremony for the best Final Projects in social entrepreneurship

The first edition of these awards, the Premis als Millors Treballs Finals de Grau (TFG) Relacionats amb l'Emprenedoria Social, will honour the top projects from the 2021/22 academic year. The winners will be announced before the end of November and the awards ceremony will be held in December, at the new UAB-Emprèn space at the Plaça Cívica.

Visibility and recognition aims to be given to students with entrepreneurial inquisitiveness

The award winners of the best bachelor's degree final projects in social entrepreneurship [Premis als Millors Treballs Finals de Grau (TFG) Relacionats amb l’Emprenedoria Social] will be selected before 30 November and the awards ceremony will be held in December in an event at the new UAB-Emprèn space open to the public. The date and time of the ceremony will be announced shortly. The new space is located on the Plaça Cívica, on the first floor of the RR building (above the restaurant and next to the Employment Service Office).

The Awards Assessment Commission will be formed by members of the Office for the Vice Rector for Students and Employability, the Social Council, lecturing staff, Employment Services and the Research Park. The evaluation criteria include topic, valuable contributions, innovation, social impact, and the theoretical and methodological framework.

The winners will be awarded 400 euros and a certificate of commendation. The TFGs must have been presented in the 2021/22 academic year by undergraduate students from any of the UAB teaching centres, they must have scored higher than 8 in their final project and the project must have been directly related to social entrepreneurship.

The Premis als Millors Treballs Finals de Grau (TFG) Relacionats amb l’Emprenedoria Social are an initiative by the UAB Social Council, with the support of the Office for the Vice Rector for Students and Employability. The main objective of these awards is to foster the development of TFGs in this field and give visibility and recognition to students with entrepreneurial inquisitiveness.
