More UAB services to be up and running in the following days
Several UAB services will once again be available soon, including the automated correction of exams, SIGMA self- services and the electronic office.
Starting on 14 January the automated correction of multiple-choice exams will once again be available. Since users cannot sign up for an appointment online, all appointments will be given through the phone extension 2608.
Nevertheless, the Campus Virtual environment already includes a tool which gives lecturers autonomy when using it, and which generates results and analyses equivalent to those obtained with traditional correction methods. The tool, called Test offline, generates printable answer sheets on normal paper which can be easily processed by lecturers themselves.
Already since 12 January many SIGMA self-services are available online, and can be found at the SIA website (sia.uab.cat). Some of these services include the Research and Activities Plan for PhD students, an online deposit of PhD theses, transparency of the study plan, GPD, timetables, useful SIGMA tools, etc.
Applying for certificates will be possible starting next week since a new software version will be arriving shortly.
Another service returning to normalcy is the Electronic Office, which will progessively be reincorporated into different procedures.
