Registrations for second semester activities with academic recognition are now open

Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS), Cultura en Viu, Observatori per a la Igualtat and Dinamització Comunitària opened registrations to take part in the various  activities with ECTS credit recognition that UAB offers for the upcoming second semester of the 2018/19 academic year.
 
FAS launched two educational workshops for the first months of 2019. The first one, “Views and considerations on drugs”, is organized by the FAS Health Programme. The second one, “Disability or Diverse Abilities?”, is organized by PIUNE, UAB’s care centre for disability. Attending these workshops plus submitting a project on the work done will allow students to recognize this activity with 2 ECTS credits.
 
Students have until 28 February to apply for the Body Percussion course, improve their voice in the Voice Technique workshop, participate in the Introduction to Theatrical Interpreting in English and French theatre workshops or apply to be part of UAB’s Chorus or Orchestra. Spots are limited and all courses are recognized with 1 ECTS credit, except the Chorus and Orchestra that are recognized with 2.5 and 3 ECTS credits respectively.
 
The Observatory launched two workshops with 2 ECTS credits recognition: first one is titled “Sexual and gender violence in university: identification and accompanying”, which is already fully booked. You can e-mail formació.igualtat@uab.cat in order to be in the waiting list. The second workshop, “Tools to communicate with a gender perspective”, are also fully booked.
 
Finally, as every year, Dinamització Comunitària opened registrations up to 14 March to apply for the local round of the University Debate League, which will take place from 19 to 21 March 2019 in Sala Teatre de la UAB. Participating in this competition, organized by Xarxa Vives d’universitats, will be recognized with 2 ECTS credits.
