University community comes together to protest against political repressions
Hundreds of members of the university community participated in a protest today in front of the UAB's Rectorat building, organised by the governing team and trade unions, to express their rejection to "all types of political repression".

Given the current situation of democratic regression, the UAB governing team and trade unions (ADT, CAU-IAC, CCOO, CGT and UGT) called on members of the university community to meet in front of the Rectorat building to show their "rejection towards any and all types of political repression".
Hundreds of people attended the demonstration in which Margarita Arboix, Rector of the UAB, stated that the University called for the need to "talk, negotiate and reach an agreement", instead of "continuing with this nonsense". Rector Arboix reaffirmed the fact that the UAB is an institution "open to all ways of thinking".
