UAB to issue English level certificates

Those interested in taking the exam and certify their level of English have until 31 October to sign up for the Certificat de Llengües de les Universitats de Catalunya (CLUC).

This is a multi-level exam which allows exam takers to accredit their level of English B1, B2.1 or B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. 

The exam fee is 75 euros for all UAB students, lecturers and researchers, and administrative staff. Registration will be open from 21 to 31 October.

Levels B1 and B2 are certified with the CertACLES seal of the Association of Language Teaching Centres (Associació de Centres de Llengües de l'Ensenyament Superior). The English certificate exam CLUC has academic and professional validity and is recognised by the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia and the Spanish Rectors’ Conference (CRUE).

The first time this exam was held was in February 2013 at different universities in Catalonia, including at the UAB Language Service.
