The Vives Network of Universities is working on a report on gender inequalities lived in university communities
02/12/2018
On 29 and 30 November, the Equality Workgroup of the Vives Network of Universities had its annual meeting in Vic. In this meeting, professors Inma Pastor (URV) and anna Pérez-Quuintana (UVIC-UCC) presented the gender inequality indicators which will be the base for the report.
15 of the 22 universities forming the Vives Network of Universities have taken part in the data collection process to establish the indicators. The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is among the universities which have contributed with data for the creation of this document.
The report will be published in 2019 and it will be written by professors Pastor and Pérez-Quintana. The publication of this report will help the university areas, managment, departments or governing bodies develop actions to revert the gender inequality situations still faced by universities.
