The Archaeological Spring will begin on 20 March at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities with the inauguration of the physical and virtual exhibition 50 Years of Archaeology at the UAB and the opening of the Archaeology Film Cycle FICAB-UAB, which will project the finalists and winners of the 17th Bidasoa International Archaeological Film Festival (FICAB). Four film sessions will be offered at the UAB Cinema Hall on 20 and 27 March, on 10 April and on 8 May.

On 4 April, the UAB community is invited to view the Neolithic exhibition La Revolució neolítica. La Draga. El poblat dels prodigis at the Journals Building of the Humanities Library/UAB Open Labs. Dedicated to the La Draga site, this museographic proposal uses audiovisual resources and virtual recreations to transport visitors to the Neolithic period. Guided visits to the exhibition will be offered all throughout spring. On 13 May, a round table discussion will be held on the Neolithic period in Catalonia.

The Archaeological Spring is organised by the CORE in Cultural Heritage, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Cultura en Viu and the Humanities Library. Also participating in the collaboration are the Catalan Ministry for Culture, the National Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia, the Arqueoxarxa network, the Banyoles City Council, the Archaeological Museum of Banyoles, the CSIC, the RecerCaixa, the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, the Irun City Council, the Oiasso Museum and the Bidasoa International Archaeological Film Festival (FICAB).
