Start of the third edition of the Pre-Sessional Spanish Language Course

Last Monday we welcomed 96 new Chinese students who will attend the tailor made Spanish programme previous to university. There was a welcome session aimed at giving general information about the school and the language programme, and explaining the methodology and the course contents. 

The programme lasts 8 months, and its main objective is that students reach level B2 of Spanish, to apply for a place at a Spanish university. The course is divided into two parts: the first 4 months will focus on general Spanish language; the second part will combine general and specific Spanish: academic Spanish, business Spanish, Spanish history and culture. The programme also includes cultural activities such as visits to museums, companies and other places of interest, in order to enrich the learning experience.

First and second editions had 48 and 31 participants, respectively. Third edition has reached a total of 96 students, divided in groups according to language level. The high number of participants reveals the increasing interest of Chinese students in this kind of programme.
