On 14 May the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology presented 50 anys del moviment estudiantil a la UAB, half a century of student activism in celebration of the UAB's 50th anniversary.

The event was structured into three parts. The first, entitled "Where do we come from?", included speeches by the main characters of the video: Núria Alcaraz, researcher from the Department of Sociology; Joan Manuel Tresserras, lecturer from the Department of Media, Communication and Culture; Xavier Domènech, lecturer from the Department of Modern and Early Modern History; José Luis Lalueza, lecturer from the Department of Basic, Developmental and Educational Psychology; and Berta Satoca, representative of students at the UAB Social Council. Later the film was projected, and then followed by the "Where are we going?" section, in which a debate was opened to talk about the future of student activism.
