The UAB has student exchange agreements with the universities of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities with the aim of fostering a culture of innovation and providing a catalytic role in companies and society in general.

YERUN is the acronym of Young European Research Universities Network and it was officially set up on January 9, 2015. This is a network of European young universities founded less than 50 years ago and having already achieved outstanding positions in international rankings.
The Vives Network of Universities is a non-profit institution that represents and coordinates the joint action of 22 universities in order to create a university space that allows the coordination of teaching, research and cultural activities and to promote the normalization and use of the Catalan language.
CASA is a non-profit academic consortium made up of twelve leading research universities with the aim of organizing and delivering rigorous education programs abroad in collaboration with other universities. It makes the most of its combined resources to provide student immersion opportunities with leading academics and world leaders.
Universia is the largest university cooperation network in the world, with 800 universities from 20 countries. The main lines of action are academic and occupation orientation and supporting the digital transformation of universities.
The Alliance 4 Universities (A-4U) is a strategic association between the four main Spanish public universities: Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
