Mass media
The subject headings in the UAB Libraries catalog are in Catalan. In the Search engine you can search by subject by combining the words in Catalan (mitjans de comunicació de massa, premsa, televisió or radioemissores) with a geographical or with the word directoris or bases de dades. We recomend you the Guía de medios digital. It's a directory of Spanish media containing information on groups, media and professionals. Includes names of staff, contact data, contracting conditions, content, audience index, etc.

- La xarxa. Includes local television networks. It has a map of broadcast stations
- Federació de Mitjans de Comunicació Local de Catalunya.
- Map of radios and televisions. Locates the radio stations and television channels of Catalonia. Prepared by the Catalan Audiovisual Council (CAC)

- Guía de la radio. Weekly magazine on radio broadcasting in Spain that includes a comprehensive directory of stations ordered by provinces

- European Audiovisual Observatory. Public organization that provides a comparative European overview of the audiovisual industry in different European countries as well as detailed analysis of national and even regional industries. The database MAVISE is a directory of television channels and corporations
- Radiomap. Radio stations in Europe
- Premsa Comarcal. Page of the Associació Catalana de Premsa Comarcal. It has a database to search newspapers and magazines by title, periodicity and region
- El Quiosco. Compilation of newspapers, magazines and press databases subscribed by the UAB. Includes a page with other digital press directories
