Equipment qualification

Introduction

A good operation of the equipment helps to ensure the quality of the results, the safety of workers and, in general, the protection of people and the environment. To achieve this, it is necessary to have a preventive maintenance program that covers both the technical-legal requirements and the manufacturer's recommendations regarding the different critical elements of the equipment. Currently, the UAB guarantees an annual qualification of two essential equipment for the control of biological risk, such as: the biological safety cabinet and the autoclaves dedicated to the inactivation of biohazardous waste.
