- Is Associate Professor in Business Organization at the Business Department of Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. His research focuses on strategic internationalization of SMEs, export marketing management and international entrepreneurship (born globals/international new ventures) from both developed and emerging/transition economies, and also investigates on knowledge and IT management. He is author and/or co-author of different books, book chapters, and articles published in both leading national and international academic journals in these fields such as Journal of International Marketing, International Business Review, International Marketing Review, Journal of Small Business Management, European Management Journal, European Journal of International Management, Advances in International Marketing, Journal of International Entrepreneurship, Journal of Knowledge Management, and Journal of Global Marketing, among others. Dr Alex Rialp also serves as editorial review board member of International Business Review and as ad-hoc reviewer for different academic journals.
