We resume the PUC (Consortial Borrowing) service in in situ mode
From January 10, you can go to the other institutions that are part of the PUC and borrow documents from them.

After a period of interruption due to the change in the Libraries Management System, on January 10 the PUC (Consortial Borrowing) service will be resumed in in-person or in situ mode.
Users of the institutions that are part of the PUC [link: https://www.csuc.cat/en/serveis/prestec-consorciat-puc] will be able to borrow documents directly from the library where they are held. Users have to identify themselves as users of their institution.
PUC loan terms have not changed: you can borrow up to 10 documents from other institutions for 21 days and renew them up to 6 times.
On the other hand, users who have PUC loans which has not yet been returned (pre-summer 2021 loans) will see that they will appear in their account with a return date of February 1, 2022. You can return them to any of the UAB Libraries or to any library of the institution that owns the documents.
