Some areas in the Humanities, Communication and Social Sciences Libraries will be out of service from June 8 to June 11

01/06/2021

From Tuesday, June 8 to Friday, June 11, the Humanities Library, the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives and the Social Sciences Library will host part of the University Access Tests (PAU) that will take place on the UAB Campus.

For this reason, some areas in the three libraries will be dedicated exclusively to carrying out the exams and cannot be used during these dates:

  • Humanities Library: 1st floor and 2nd floor (work group rooms and booths included)
  • Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives: Underground floor –1, 2nd floor and 3rd floor (work group rooms and booths included)
  • Social Sciences Library: Underground floor –1 and underground floor –3

The remaining spaces of these libraries will be open and the provision of the usual services will be guaranteed.

If you plan to consult or borrow documents located on the reserved floors, we recommend that you book them in advance through the Search Engine.

The other UAB libraries will operate normally: you can check their opening hours, locations and real time occupancy.
