There are a lot of periodic tables. About food, about spelling, about Harry Potter ... even on chemical elements! But have you seen any dedicated to the scientific women?

Teresa Valdés-Solís, chemical engineer and researcher at the National Carbon Institute (CSIC), decided to create her own periodic table of women scientists. And, immediately, it had a great impact. It is divided into nine thematic categories, and contains 122 women of science, 28 of them Spanish.

It seemed appropriate and interesting to reproduce the table in Maxi version, to join the events of the International Year of the Periodic Table and to publicize the women that appear there, adding their faces on each one of the names.

To know more about the table, as well as about the women scientists and the author, we recommend the webpage we have prepared, but the best option is that you come and see it!
