AFOCER photographers celebrate the different forms that friendship can take.

Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives hosts the collective photographic exhibition “Amic amat” (“Beloved friend”), lent by AFOCER, Agrupació Foto-Cine Cerdanyola-Ripollet. You can visit it on the hall of the library from January 18 to February 27, 2023.

From its presentation text:

2020 was a tough year. The pandemic caused by COVID-19 caused anxiety and great losses in the personal, social, work, and economic spheres. Today it seems that we are starting to recover very slowly from these years of uncertainty.

But if we had to draw any positive conclusions from this situation, we could say that 2020 was a year in which we recovered very important things that, in the rush of everyday life, are often cornered by other more "urgent" things.

From AFOCER we wanted to pay tribute to friendship, in the form of an exhibition.

This exhibition is for you: with whom we have laughed, with whom we have cried, with whom we have been able to show ourselves vulnerable.

Because you love me, and you accept me, and I love you, and I accept you as we are.

This one goes for you, beloved friend.
