Manuel Ballbé Mallols (1951-2020): in memoriam
Exhibition in tribute to Doctor Ballbé, Professor in Administrative Law and founder of the EPSI (School of Prevention and Integral Safety) at the UAB, who was a regular user of the Social Sciences Library

On October 16, at 1 pm, the Rector's Office will host a tribute to Manuel Ballbé, Professor of the Department of Public Law and Historical and Legal Sciences at the UAB, who left us in last February. The new Manuel Ballbé Chair for Human Security will be presented at the event. [The event has been canceled. The new date will be announced]
In addition to the Faculty of Law, Ballbé also taught at the School of Prevention and Integral Safety at the UAB, a center where he was also the rector's delegate. He worked on research projects on community law in Spain or the organization of safety in the nuclear energy sector.
The Social Sciences Library also wanted to join in this tribute with an exhibition on floor 0, where is reviewed his bibliography, the theses he directed, the media that echoed his loss and the red chair in the library where he always sat to read the Financial Times.
