Board games at the UAB Libraries
November 4-10 is International Games Week at the libraries. This year the UAB Libraries will participate in this initiative.

Each library will have a space with different board games for you to play with your classmates and have a good time.
Would you like to play a nice game of chess? Or do you prefer the Rummikub? Do you dare to finish a puzzle? These and other surprise games will be waiting for you!
Activities:
- November 5th: Escape room on open access. During the game you will have to solve a series of riddles that will help us to defeat the evil one who has closed the investigations of our institution. So, your task will be to rescue the search, release it, and get it public and free again. Registration is required through the web form.
- Puzzle designed by UAB libraries according to the motto: A universe of possibilities.
- November 13th: 1st Chess Tournament of the Science and Technology Library. The competition, open to the entire community of the Faculties of Sciences and Biosciences, and the School of Engineering, wants to bring together up to 50 players in a Swiss 8-round Swiss tournament. Registration closed.
