Exhibition on the Neolithic town of la Draga

Exposició Draga
The Journals Room of Humanities hosts, from April 4 to June 7, the exhibition on the Neolithic town of La Draga (Banyoles, Girona, Catalonia)

04/04/2019

During the 50th anniversary of Archeology studies at the UAB, the "Archaeological Spring" has been organized, a cycle of cultural activities dedicated to archeology and free access to all that will take place in the months of March, April, May and June.

Among these activities, we highlight the itinerant exhibition "The Neolithic Revolution. La Draga, the village of prodigies " presented by the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia in a didactic and innovative way through the language of comics, created by the Girona artist Quim Bou.

The exhibition transports visitors to the Neolithic town of La Draga through audiovisual resources and virtual reality, showing the extraordinary preserved archaeological heritage (huts, food remains, various utensils, kitchen ceramics ...)

You can not miss the guided tour of the exhibition, next April 11 at 1pm in the Journals Building of Humanities Library (Building B).
