In 2016 IQS Tech Fair landed in Barcelona, as a small fair dedicated to industrial startups held at the IQS University. Exceeding all expectations, the event gathered more than 400 attendees on a cold winter evening. Something was changing in the ecosystem. Just over a year later, IQS Tech Fair was transformed into IQS Tech Fest: the first industrial startups festival in Europe.
